Dress Code in Middle School
While wearing tank tops or shirts with spaghetti straps students must wear a shirt or jacket over these. These cannot be worn by themselves. No undergarments should ever be seen such as bra straps. Shirts must not expose the midriff of the student. Sleeveless blouses/tops must have the outside edge of the sleeve touch the outside edge of the shoulder. Also, shorts and skirts must be long enough to extend mid-thigh and allow students to be able to stand, sit and/or bend with modesty. Jeans with holes are not allowed, except below the knee. Holes should be subtle and not show skin. No graphic t-shirts with inappropriate words, signs, or symbols are allowed. Students that come to school dressed in clothing that is not dress code approved, will be sent to the nurse's office to change into their athletic clothes or they may call their parents to bring up other appropriate clothing.
