November’s Star of GCISD is Coach Nichole Cruson of Heritage Middle School! From helping run every athletic event at the campus to developing better students and athletes, she does it all with encouragement and a great attitude. She is another shining example of the amazing people at GCISD! We are so lucky to have her here at HMS! #BroncoChampion

My name is Adrienne McLain and I am so excited to be teaching Resource Math and doing Inclusion support at HMS this year! I went to Texas A&M where I studied Special Education, then taught for 10 years before taking time away with my family. I have been a parent and active PTA volunteer at Heritage Elementary for the last six years. In addition to volunteering, I was also a substitute teacher and did two long-term sub positions there.
I am married and have two daughters who are GCISD students. Our family loves going to the lake, hiking and exploring new places together. I also love watching college football (Gig 'em!) and baking with my girls around the holidays!
I'm very much looking forward to joining the outstanding team at HMS!

Hello all! My name is Rachel Naranjo, and I am the new English Acquisition and Reading Intervention Teacher at Heritage Middle School. I was born and raised in Coppell, Texas, where I met my wonderful husband. I graduated from Texas Christian University with my bachelor’s in 2020 and my master’s in 2022. After graduating with my bachelor’s, I served as a College Advisor for TCU’s College Advising Corps for two years, discovering my passion for teaching. I then became a 6th-grade English Language Arts teacher in Fort Worth ISD for three years. This will be my fourth year as a teacher, and I’m excited to be part of the Bronco family! I have an amazing daughter named Rosie who will be one in September. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, gaming, and spending time with my family. I look forward to getting to know you!

My name is Chelsi Reichenstein and I am so excited to join the HMS staff! I am a graduate of Baylor University with a B.A. in Political Science and Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. I practiced in the area of bankruptcy and debt collection before deciding to shift gears to enter education. Before this school year, I subbed across the district for several years and became an 8th Grade U.S. History and 7th Grade AVID teacher at Cross Timbers Middle School. I live in Grapevine with my husband of 16 years, Jake. We have two sons, a 7th Grader at HMS named Jake and a 3rd Grader at Heritage Elementary School named Chase. We have two rescue dogs, a pitbull/German Shorthaired Pointer/Basset hound named Taco and a rescue pitbull named Delta. We spend most of our free time watching and cheering on our boys while they play football, basketball and baseball.

Hello! I'm so excited to be joining the Heritage Middle School team as an 8th Grade English teacher and Girls Athletics Coach. I graduated from Baylor University (SIC 'EM!) where I received my degree in Secondary Education English. As of this past year, I finished teaching in Northwest ISD at Chisholm Trail Middle School, where I completed my first year teaching. I come from a family of educators, and I am so blessed to be able to continue in this profession where I can help educate the next generation and support students as they continue to grow!
I recently got engaged to my best friend, Justin, who I will be marrying in November and I could not be more excited! I eventually will go from being Ms. Christensen to Mrs. Thompson... I am counting down the days!
When I am not pouring into students or planning a wedding, you can find me either leading worship at my church, reading a good book with a good cup of coffee, or spending quality time with family and friends.
I look forward to meeting you and your children and supporting all HMS has to offer this upcoming year!

Hi! I’m Taren Heinrich and I am so excited to be joining you at Heritage Middle School! My family and I are new to Grapevine this summer, coming from Hershey, Pennsylvania. I have been working in Special Education for 12 years and I absolutely love it! When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family outside and attending my kids sporting practices/events!

Hi, my name is Maddi Grace Stennett. I am so excited to be a Bronco and to teach 6th grade science! I attended Mississippi College and earned a degree in elementary education. After teaching 6th grade in Mississippi for three years, I’m looking forward to starting my fourth year by returning to Texas and continuing to teach middle school. In my free time, I love to bake, read, and travel during the summer. It’s going to be a great year!
