Last week at HMS, we hosted a showcase for schools across the United States, offering an inside look at how our campus earned the prestigious designation as an AVID National Demonstration Site. Visitors also saw what makes our college and career demonstration program exceptional. AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is implemented in all of GCISD’s middle schools, as well as Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School. #WeAreGCISD #TEAMHMS
