After 37 rounds on December 16, 2024, Heritage Middle School awarded Arush Shankar in 8th grade as the HMS Spelling Bee Champion! Our Runner-up was Rafael Cortez in 6th grade. Congratulations to these two students for their excellent spelling. Arush will now advance with other GCISD campus champions to compete with Carroll ISD campus winners in the Area Bee competition. The winner at this event then advances to compete in the Regional Bee.
